Premium Structural Reinforcement

Macro Synthetic Fiber Manufacturer in India

At Fiberwell, we are prominent Macro Fiber Manufacturer and Exporter, engineered from high-quality polypropylene to deliver superior structural performance in advanced concrete application. These macro polypropylene fibers are mainly designed to function as both primary and secondary reinforcement, enhancing the durability and longevity of concrete structures across demanding environments.

Our Macro Fibers are uniformly dispersed within the concrete mix, significantly improving post-crack toughness, impact tolerance and fatigue performance. By effectively controlling plastic shrinkage cracking and minimizing crack propagation, Fiberwell Macro Fibers make sure to enhance structural integrity and prolonged reliability.

Fiberwell Macro Fibers

Not like traditional steel fibers, Macro Fibers are corrosion tolerance, non-reactive and has chemically inert in alkaline concrete conditions, making them a suitable solution for projects exposed to moisture, chemicals or aggressive environments. Moreover, they ensure to maintain excellent workability at standard dosages, making sure it delivers ease of application without compromising mix consistency.

Our Macro Fibers are broadly used in applications such as industrial flooring, pavements, precast concrete, shotcrete, tunnel linings, and slabs-on-grade, where crack control, load distribution, and energy absorption are critical performance parameters.

With a profound global presence, Fiberwell proudly supply Macro Fiber in India and across international markets, including the UAE, Egypt, Malaysia, Europe and other countries, we also ensure to deliver consistent quality and performance to infrastructure and construction projects worldwide.

Key Features

Post-crack Toughness

Macro fibers ensure to maintain load-bearing capacity beyond cracks after initial concrete fracture.

Corrosion-Free

Delivers no rusting or chemical degradation in concrete's alkaline environment.

Crack Control

Reduced crack width and propagation at the plastic shrinkage and hardening stage.

Dynamic Tolerance

Improved impact and fatigue tolerance in dynamic load applications.

Perfect Compatibility

Compatible with all standard Portland cement mixers, with ready-mix, and precast concrete

Easy Dispersion

No risk of balling or clumping when added at recommended dosages.

Easy Handling

Lighter to handle than steel fibers; no site safety concerns from protruding fibers

Applications

Industrial Flooring & Warehouses
Precast Concrete Elements
Tunnel Lining & Shotcrete
Road & Pavement Construction
Drainage Canal Lining
Pile Caps & Ground Slabs
Elevated Slabs & Podium Decks
Retaining Walls

Recommended Dosage

Standard dosage range from 3 to 6 kg per cubic metre of concrete probably depending on application needs and design specification. For shotcrete and tunnel lining, dosages of 6 to 10 kg/m³ are common.

Always ensure confirmation the specified dosage with the structural engineer or project consultant before mixing. Dosage rates vary based on concrete grade, section thickness, and the load type the structure will carry.

Mixing & Compatibility

  • Macro fibers can be added directly to the truck mixer or plant mixer. They should be added after the coarse aggregates and before the final water addition to allow uniform distribution through the mix.
  • Mixing time after fiber addition: minimum 3 to 5 minutes at full mixing speed. Fibers are compatible with all the standard types of cement, fly ash blends, GGBS mixes, and chemical mixtures that includes super plasticizers and air-entraining agents.
  • Make sure to not exceed the recommended dosage without engineering guidance, as higher dosages may need workability adjustments.

Macro PP fibers are non-toxic and non-hazardous under normal handling conditions. No special protective equipment is needed beyond standard site PPE.

In case of eye contact, ensure to rinse with clean water. The fibers are not classified as hazardous waste and can be disposed of through standard solid waste channels.

FAQ

The major difference between is Micro fibers primarily control plastic shrinkage cracking in the early hours after pouring. Macro fibers are thicker, longer, and deliver structural reinforcement, maintaining crack width and improve post-crack toughness after the concrete has hardened.
In certain applications, such as industrial ground slabs and certain tunnel lining sections, macro fibers can replace traditional steel mesh or rebar. This depends upon the structural design and the specific load needs. Always confirm with a structural engineer.
At standard dosages, macro fibers have minimal effect on surface finish. Power floating and trowelling are standard for slab applications. Some fiber ends may be visible at the surface, which does not affect structural performance.
Yes. We do exports macro synthetic fibers to the UAE, Egypt, Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, and other markets.
Macro Fiber are majorly used in applications like in Industrial flooring and warehouse slabs, Precast concrete panels and elements, Tunnel lining and shotcrete, Road and pavement construction, Drainage canal fiber lining, Pile caps and ground slabs, Elevated slabs and podium decks, and in Retaining walls
