Recommended Dosage

Dosage varies by application. For GRC applications, typical glass fiber content is 3% to 5% by weight of the cement mix.

For resin composite systems, glass content is determined by the composite design specification. Technical support is available for custom mix designs.

Mixing & Compatibility

  • Cement Apps: Glass fibers are mixed into the slurry using a rotor-stator spray machine (spray GRC) or by hand premix.
  • Premix GRC typically uses shorter lengths (under 25mm). Spray GRC uses longer rovings.
  • Resin Systems: Glass fiber is used as chopped strand mat, woven roving, or roving depending on process.

Product Information

PACKAGING

Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Dispose according to local regulations for inert materials.

FAQ

The major difference is E-glass is a general-purpose glass fiber with good tensile strength and electrical non-conductivity, mainly used in composites, FRP, and standard applications. Whereas AR-glass contains zirconia and is formulated to resist the alkaline environment inside cement and concrete matrices.
Standard E-glass degrades in the alkaline environment of cement. For concrete and GRC applications, AR-glass fiber should be used. E-glass is suitable for resin systems and applications not involving cement.
Yes. Fiberwell exports fiber glass products to the Europe, Egypt, Malaysia, UAE, and South Africa and other countries.
Dosage changes by application. For instance,
For GRC applications, typical glass fiber content is 3% to 5% by weight of the cement mix.
For resin composite systems, glass content is determined by the composite design specification.
Yes, our glass fiber is ideal for use in cement matrices, resin systems, and thermoplastics.
